A host of top anglers made the trip to Lemington Lakes recently, as part of a tribute day in honour of the former editor of Improve Your Coarse Fishing and angling TV presenter Kevin Green who tragically died last year. Daiwa consultant Brian Skoyles was one of the organisers of the event and he had this to say about the day.

For some people a fishing trip of a lifetime is Tarpon fishing, salmon fishing in Alaska or sturgeon fishing in Canada. However for Neville Fickling it had to be pike fishing somewhere remote!

Daiwa consultant Brian Skoyles has just returned from a short but spectacular trip to a new venue called Jay Lake in central France. There with good friend Bill Cottam at the invite of owners Paul and Debbie Smith, Brian and Bill banked 16 carp to just over 53lb in three days, superb fishing by any standards.
