Daiwa welcomes three new Consultants

We are delighted to announce the arrival of three new faces to our Consultancy Team for 2009. Our Carp Team sees the addition of Mike Willmott and Darrell Peck, while on the match fishing front Michael Sanders joins Will, Kieron and Sandra.
Mike Willmott with a cracking common.

A long term ambassador of Daiwa, Mike is a welcomed addition to our team. Having witnessed many of the changes in the UK and European carp scene Mike has a track record of fantastic fish, many articles and a successful book. And thanks to his extensive knowledge of fish feeding behaviour he has established a highly respected bait business.

Preferring to be regarded as a big fish bounty hunter has stood Darrell in good stead with numerous successes including Two Tone at over 65lbs. Admitting to having a selective approach to his fishing, Darrell aims more at ‘off the beaten track’ waters. Finding occasional refreshment in the diversion of big chub helps him restore that keep it simple thinking.

Michael has learned his craft from the best. A key, younger member of the mighty Dorking team Michael has also proved his worth as a strong individual angler too. He regularly makes first team appearances and has been in the mix during many of Dorking’s recent victories.

“We are delighted that these guys have agreed to join our team. They are top quality anglers but more importantly they are all very approachable and are certainly good ambassadors for Daiwa and our sport” said Stephen McCaveny, Marketing Manager.
