This Caldia retains the qualities that have made it so famous and takes them to the next level: exceptional lightness, outstanding build quality plus a sleek and elegant design.
The body is ZAION V monocoque allowing for the increased size in drive gear. All the technological innovations of AIRDRIVE DESIGN, first brought by the 22EXIST, have also been introduced.
The rotor, spool, bail and line roller have all been improved.
Drag performance has also changed: the ultra-responsive ATD-L on models up to the 4000 is super-smooth when it comes to dampening the fish’s first run and then begins to brake, controlling the fish’s efforts to escapes. On the 5000 editions the ATD Tough Drag System brings a high level of drag power and control.
The newer 5000 version, a newly introduced size for this series, features a more power-oriented drag and oversized EVA handle knob: the ATD Tough Drag with carbon discs, is designed to better handle large and powerful quarry aided by the enlarged grip.
