Tight Lines in the Shetlands

Daiwa’s sea consultant Steve Souter has returned to the Shetland Islands, this time to try and capture the fantastic fishing for TV.

Having enjoyed a brilliant previous trip that included cod to 34lb, coalfish to 29lb, ling to 37lb and big pollack, Steve returned in March with a camera crew from Sky’s Tight Lines programme.

The location certainly didn’t disappoint, with both wreck and shore fishing producing some great results. A selection of the best footage will be featured on Tight Lines over the coming months, with the next due to be shown on Friday 27th May.

If you miss an episode, or don’t have access to Sky on your TV, a podcast of the shows will also be added to the Tight Lines website each week and can be downloaded and watched free of charge.
